Department of Environmental Health

The goal of this department is to train students to focus on the health and environment of the community to create optimal conditions to maintain the survival of the community and the sustainable development of each country. The activities of this field are divided into two parts: educational and research.

In the educational phase, issues such as collecting wastewater, purifying municipal and industrial wastewater, collecting and disposing solid waste, hygiene of public places, controlling rodent and insect, health monitoring of food preparation, distribution and sale, investigating air pollution and its control, monitoring water hygiene, etc., are examined to solve related problems in the community, and providing solutions appropriate to the conditions of each region.

Also, conducting applied researches in accordance with the conditions of society and the environment, and increasing the capabilities of students in research plans and projects are parts of our duties.
