A public healthcare center and the largest hospital and trauma center of Neyshabur with 268 beds, 22 Bahman health and research center is currently situated in the central core of Neyshabur, on Imam Khomeini Street in an area of 28,000 square meters and eye-catching green space. The primary building of the hospital was first divided into two separate hospitals in 1946, namely Atar and Emdadi hospitals, which were merged into one hospital (known as 22 Bahman hospital today) in the first years of the Islamic revolution with the help of the then managers by owning the barrier street of these two hospitals and making arrangements with the municipality.
The hospital presents a wide range of healthcare services. Attar specialized polyclinic clinic of the hospital provides specialized clinics such as orthopedics, urology, general surgery, neurosurgery, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology-infection - ENT, neurology - cardiovascular, anesthesiology, and subspecialty clinics including hematology, nephrology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, and PCNL surgery.
In addition to the mentioned clinics, there are some hospitalization wards in the hospital, including emergency, men surgery and gynecology surgery, cardiology department and cardiac care unit (CCU), angiography, internal 1- internal 2- internal 3, internal intensive care unit (internal ICU), surgical intensive care unit (surgical ICU), operating room (with five operating rooms), dialysis, chemotherapy, open-heart ICU, and open-heart operating room.
The paraclinical wards of this hospital include radiology, MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, laboratory, pharmacy and stone breaker and cancer screening center, which provide the required paraclinical services.
The hospital was upgraded to a health and research center in August 2017.
